Patient Services FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions for Patients

What tests may I order myself, and which tests require a physician order?

Patients may order the FoodSafe™ Basic (95 foods), FoodSafe™ Extended (95 foods), or FoodSafe™ Comprehensive (190 foods) IgG4 panels directly—these require only a fingerstick bloodspot collection that can be completed at home. All 24-Hour Urine Hormone Profiles, Blood Viscosity, Kraft Prediabetes, and Serum Allergy profiles require a licensed healthcare provider’s order (or a Patient Requisition reorder for eligible repeat testing).

How long will it take to get my test results?

In general, results are finalized within two weeks (7–10 business days) from the date your specimen arrives at our laboratory. If you are working with a referring physician, your results are released directly to your doctor’s office.
